To Be A Mom
When you ask me what was and what is my biggest dream, that is to be a mom. When most would dream of high career ranks, or fame or what not, mine was to be a mother. I have been praying for it since a huge myoma was removed from me and my uterus was damaged and repaired. And now that God blessed me with a wonderful Leon, I can say that I am finally living my dream.
Yet living my dream was not a piece of cake. The first two years with Leon was undoubtedly the happiest, greatest years of my life, it was also the toughest yet most challenging ever. Even if I thought I was ready, I never was until Leon came out. Now that Leon is turning 2 in July, I can confidently say that having him turned me to a better, more matured, and more skilled individual.
As I celebrate with my fellow moms out there, I'd like to commend us all for doing probably the hardest and most impossible job one could ever do. I still don't understand how we can all keep our sanity in between sleepless nights, diaper changes, loud cries, and inexplainable tantrums. I also admire us moms for being able to sacrifice a lot of things (time, money, figure, weight, looks) just to make sure that we provide the best for our children. So to all moms out there, congratulations!
Anyways, these are the photos taken earlier at Trinoma where Paolo treated me at Mango Tree for my mother's day dinner. Failed to bring my make up kit with me so I had no eyebrow makeup. :p
