SALE Shopping at SM City San Lazaro! (Part 1)

 Whew! It's been days since I've been here in my blog! Again, I apologize for the hiatus for I just came back from a work trip at Baguio. Actually, I drove (yes I drove!) last Thursday to Dagupan for a work-related event and went straight to Baguio in the afternoon for some R&R. I was not able to do internet - related stuff for I was really busy the past days.

However, I'm really proud to say that I was able to drove back to Manila today (yesterday, technically) via Kenon Road--which for me is one great achievement! (I'll share more about this soon on another time). After 7-8 long hours of driving, I decided to release my stress and tension with some shopping, instead of going straight home. Yes, you read it right, I did go shopping upon arriving at Manila.

Since SM City San Lazaro is just near our house (and not that far from NLEX Balintawak), I decided to visit the mall and check out this HUGE Mallwide sale happening. My tired body cannot help but pick up some adrenaline after learning that there are items that will be sold at 70% discount! So without hesitation, I went to SM San Lazaro and spend whatever energy that is left in my body.

The fiance also took advantage of the sale as he needed to update his corporate wardrobe.

The good thing about this sale is not just the discounts that the establishments are giving the customers, but also the additional savings that one can get! Like (1) an additional 10% off last Friday (from 10am-12nn), (2)P100 rebate for every P2000 spent, and (3) additional 5%rebate for every P3000 spent on mastercard. I tell you, Paolo enjoyed benefits (2) and (3)!

Aside from the mallwide sale, other activities such as bull riding and cartoom fest are happening in the mall. 

 

Because I'm such a bargain hunter, I definitely made the most out of my shopping at SM San Lazaro! Even if I arrived at around 7-8PM (after a long  drive), I was glad to have enough time to shop as the mall was open until 11PM in the evening. 

 However, since I've always been a "budget shopper," I've set a limit to spend only P2000 to buy myself a pair of shoes, bag, clothes and other things. I'm so glad that with the mallwide sale at SM San Lazaro, the budget I set was more than enough.

I'm glad that Paolo and I decided to go to the SM Store / SM Department store cause we got everything we need there. Swear, both of us made a number of "steals" during our quick shopping! Some of those are the following:

Ladies wear and all other sections at 50% off!

Bags for P399 below!

Since I realized that I haven't bought a bikini in decades, bought myself this SUNKISSED tribal print bikini for only P299!! (While other swimsuits are being sold online at P800 up!)

Statement PARISIAN Shoes at P599 and below!

And I will never let any sale end without buying a pair that's below P500!!!

I sort of hit the jackpot when PARISIAN Bags are being sold for buy one take one at P599-P999!

And I got myself these two good looking bags!

Paolo was just really happy cause he was able to buy himself a couple of slacks, 4 long sleeved polos, belt and some toiletrries for only P4000+. He was able to save P2000 from all the discounts he got from the sale. He also had a number of rebates cause he used his mastercard and exceeded P2000 worth of shopping!

I'm really glad that I was able to buy everything that I need / want on the planned budget. I am also happy that I was able to use my SM Advantage card (and accumulate points) and was warmly accomodated by the SM staff. However, there's more! 

Because I shopped for P2000 worth, I was able to get a raffle coupon (that MIGHT make me win a Devant Smart TV) and a P100 rebate.

See? Big savings definitely awaits all shoppers!
